Walking in the streets of the city since I was a toddler. Always walking holding a pen and paper. Observation. Humans, silhouettes from a shadow theatre, they play no role. I create human figures framed within doors and windows; still, thoughtful. As well as silhouettes subservient to the fast-paced city. Removing the street dust and exhaust fumes, bringing to mind images of another era. The pieces of the broken time built again with colour to compose a city of two dimensions.
